Step 1
Contact Us
The first step in the consultation process is to contact us. We’ll ask you a few simple questions to make sure there aren’t any conflicts. Next, we’ll schedule a time for you to speak with an attorney that same day or within 24 hours depending on the client’s availability. The attorney will then determine whether we’re able to assist you. Then, if appropriate, we’ll schedule you for a formal consultation with an attorney who fits your needs.

Step 2
Prepare for Consultation
Your time with an attorney is important. Here are eight tips to help you get the most out of your initial consultation.
Tip 1
Make sure you know the name and contact information of the attorney you're meeting with, along with the time and place of your appointment.
Tip 5
Prepare to be honest. Everything you say will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, so you can feel comfortable talking freely with us.
Tip 2
Bring any relevant court documents (summons, subpoenas, transcripts, orders, etc.) pertaining to your case or action.
Tip 6
Review the facts. We may ask you some tough questions, but it's to your benefit to share all relevant aspects of your issues with us.
Tip 3
Bring any other relevant documentation (records, filings, evidence, etc.) that might have a bearing on your legal matter
.
Tip 7
Consider any questions you may have. We'll do our best to answer them candidly and with as much detail as you need.
Tip 4
Think about what you want to have happen with respect to your legal matter. We'll be better able to help you if you know the outcomes you desire.
Tip 8
Show up on time and be prepared to take notes. Let us know ahead of time if you need to reschedule.
Meet Your Attorney
Step 3
The attorney you consult with will discuss your legal matter with you in some detail. If you don’t understand something, ask us to explain it again. We don’t mind. Really.
If we decide that we can help you with your matter, and you decide you want to proceed, we’ll work together to determine the best path forward to meet your legal need.
The attorney with whom you consulted may or may not be the one who eventually handles your legal issue. If a different attorney is assigned to you, we look forward to introducing you to a trusted colleague.
